Product Description

BeeVital's VarroMed is a ready to use solution with a combination of the active substances of Formic acid and Oxalic acid dihydrate to help protect your colonies from Varroa destructor.

VarroMed comes in a convenient bottle and is extremely easy to use, just open up your hive and apply on the bees between frames. The dose applied is dependent on the strength of your colony, but the scales on the bottle make this simple for you to keep track of. Each bottle contains 555ml of VarroMed.

You can use VarroMed in the spring, summer, autumn or winter making it a good choice for IPM (Integrated Pest Management), studies have shown that VarroMed has consistently shown great efficacy regardless of temperature conditions. In addition, this treatment can be used with out without brood.

Very prompt service and delivery

Very reliable delivery and communication from beckybeez. Happy to recommend

Have yet to try product and my only caveat is that the instruction leaflet has more warnings than the outside box. Having said that I want to try this method as we lost bees in the winter partly due to us not treating verroa mite strongly enough. We have a Nuc so will wait until hive has built up numbers before applying this. Look forward to seeing how we get on
