Buckfast Mated Queen
Our Buckfast Queens are bred from the best quality Danish breeder queens. They are raised and mated in our UK mating station in Andover, Hampshire. As with all our queens they are marked and supplied in a queen travelling and introduction cage along with attendant worker bees.
These top quality queens are superb honey gatherers. They build up early in the season to make strong low swarming colonies. With a good resistance to disease and gentleness on the comb they are the ideal bee to work with.
