Terms & Conditions

 

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through our website. They are governed by English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We may update these Terms at any time, and any changes take effect from the date they are published on this site.

 

1. Cancellations & Returns

We accept returns on most items for up to 14 days after you receive them (excluding live bees and queens).
To request a return, please contact us first at hello@beckysbeezzzs.co.uk or 01264 351104, quoting your order number.

Returned items must be unused, complete, and in ‘as new’ condition, ideally with original packaging. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty. Refunds are issued to your original payment method, excluding the original delivery charge.
If your order qualified for free delivery, we reserve the right to deduct a delivery fee.

 

2. Live Bees & Queens

Cancellations

If a fully paid queen order is cancelled, we refund the amount minus a £5 admin fee. Deposits remain non-refundable.

After Dispatch or Collection

Returns of live bees or queens are not accepted under any circumstances, and refunds are not given once they have been collected or dispatched.

If we are unable to supply your live bees or queens, we will cancel your order and refund any deposit in full.


On Arrival

If you have any concerns when your queen or nuc arrives, please contact us the same day by phone or email. We will always aim to help.

Nucs include a 5-day guarantee, as described in the care sheet sent with your invoice. Once a queen or nuc has been introduced into your hive, we cannot be held responsible for any issues.

If a queen arrives dead, you must contact us immediately on the day of delivery. We may ask for the queen to be returned. We replace a dead queen once only.
We cannot replace queens if the cage has been tampered with or presented to a hive.

3. General Stock Orders (Not Live Bees)

Orders are dispatched once payment has cleared. We aim to ship orders placed before 12 noon the same day, though during busy beekeeping periods dispatch may move to the next day. You will receive email updates when your order is placed, processed, and dispatched (or ready for collection).

Deliveries are made via FedEx or Royal Mail Tracked 48; tracking information will be provided.
FedEx can leave parcels in a safe place on request, but items left without a signature are at your own risk.

Delivery costs are based on order weight. Pallet orders must be placed by phone or email and usually take 2–3 days to arrive.

Live mated queens and general stock are shipped separately, except when mated queens are ordered together with queen introduction cages.
If you place them together in error, extra carriage charges may apply.

If the wrong delivery option is chosen at checkout, we will contact you to amend the order.

4. Return of Faulty Goods

If you receive a faulty item, please contact us at hello@beckysbeezzzs.co.uk or 01264 351104, quoting your name and order number.

If the fault is reported within 28 days of delivery, we offer a refund or exchange, provided the item is:

This does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.
For consumable items (such as food), the guarantee period is three months from delivery.

Refunds for faulty items include any applicable delivery/return charges.
Replacement items are sent via standard delivery.

 

5. Personal Data

All personal data is treated as confidential and handled in line with UK Data Protection laws.

If you purchase bees from us, we may pass your details to the National Bee Unit (NBU) unless you ask us not to.
Registering with BeeBase is free and helps protect local and national bee health through timely notifications and inspections.
