Polystyrene National Nuc Box

The Poly Nuc Hive has a built in feeder on the side and an open mesh floor which is good for varroa control and ventilation. It has four feet to keep it off the ground and it holds 6 British standard brood frames.

The nuc hive comes complete with a wooden block for the feeder and a clear perspex crownboard to be able to view your bees without lifting and a front entrance disc. The entrance disc can be set on close, with or without ventilation, queen excluder or it can be left completely open. There is also a plastic insert to stop the queen getting into the feeder and a solid insert to close of the feeder completely if needed.

It is made from high density polystyrene which is very strong. They make ideal hives for nucs and small colonies because they have great insulation properties.
