To fit national and commercial hives, these plastic queen excluders are harmless to bees and stop the queen from getting into your honey supers. They are very easy to clean, simply scrape off any wax and propolis with your hive tool, then they can be washed and sterilised with soda cyrstals.

Plastic queen excluders do not have a bee space, therefore they will get stuck onto brace comb so be careful when removing your excluder as you may damage it by bending it too much.
