Nicot Hair Roller Queen Cage
These queen cages, also known as hair roller cages are made by Nicot are used with the cupkit queen rearing system. Once your queen cell has been sealed by your builder colony you can detach the cream cell cup from the cell bar support and pop into this queen cage. The open side allows you to plug with fondant and put into a mating nuc. Alternatively, you can put the cages over the queen cells whilst they are still in your builder colony (plugged with fondant) just in case the days are not worked out correctly and a virgin hatches into your builder colony, the cage will protect her!
